The jury will award $ 16 000 in prizes. One possible option is the following:

- 3rd prize:

to be officially announced in mid January 2011. The jury may decide on a different split if it is seen as more appropriate.
All entries will be uploaded to the online platform WWW.CLOUDSCAP.ES that will be widely publicized in a broad campaign to encourage online voting. Thereby they become part of the virtual cloudscapes.

The online voting as well as the final judgment of the jury will be based on the following criteria:
- What are the potential implications on environmental aspects described in chapter 1.1?
- What are potential design implications?
- How innovative is the proposed solution?
- How realistic is the solution – is there a potential to get the solution into the industry within the next 10 years?
